The community is invited to join North Dakota State College of Science to celebrate Homecoming on April 23 and 24, 2021 in Wahpeton, N.D. These events were originally scheduled September 25 and 26 but were postponed due to COVID-19. The condensed 2020 Homecoming activities will allow for alumni, students, and friends of NDSCS to show their Wildcat pride. A variety of events will take place on Friday, April 23, including the Catbacker Luncheon at 12 noon. Distinguished alumni and friends will be recognized as Homecoming Honorees during the Alumni and Friends Awards Recognition at 7 p.m. in The Alley at the Hektner Student Center. Various athletic events are planned on Saturday, April 24. The Wildcat Tailgate Celebration will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Blikre Activities Center. The celebration will include free food, face painting, and music; with the 2020 Alumni Homecoming Honorees and Hall of Fame inductees being recognized at 12 noon.
The NDSCS baseball will play a double header beginning at 1 p.m. at John Randall Field; the NDSCS softball team will also be playing a double header beginning at 1 p.m. at the Gayle Miller Softball Complex. The NDSCS football showcase is scheduled from 2 -4 p.m. at Frank Vertin Field. The Letterwinners and Hall of Fame inductees will be recognized Saturday evening in The Alley in the Hektner Student Center.
