The NDSCS Alumni Foundation Board is excited to announce the appointment of Matthew Hallaway as the new Executive Director.
Matthew brings a wealth of experience, having served as Vice President for Advancement at Oak Grove Lutheran School and Oak Grove Lutheran Foundation for nearly seven years. His background also includes a role in business banking with Alerus, as well as experience as an adjunct instructor at both NDSCS in Fargo and the University of Mary. As a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), Matthew possesses the expertise to effectively plan, execute, and evaluate fundraising programs and campaigns.
Chad Wehri, President of the NDSCS Alumni Foundation Board, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “We are excited to welcome such high-caliber talent to the Foundation Board and look forward to enhancing our existing strengths."
Current Executive Director Kim Nelson will remain with the foundation through the summer to facilitate a smooth transition and introduce Matthew to the numerous relationships she has cultivated over the years. Kim commented, "I am thrilled to welcome Matthew to this exceptional organization and look forward to his leadership in taking us to new heights."
Matthew will officially begin his role at NDSCS on January 2, 2025. He and his wife are proud parents of four children.
