Alumni Foundation Held Successful "Giving Day" Campaign
The Alumni Foundation participated in Philanthropy Day on November 15, by holding a 24-hour online "Giving Day". As part of the Foundation's fall campaign, Giving Day is intended to attract and reach donors online, who are looking for a great cause on Philanthropy Day. Several alumni and friends participated for a total of $4,695. The Alumni Foundation is grateful for your support and investment in NDSCS and its students.

As 2021 draws to a close, we are grateful that this year brought us some normalcy. It has provided us a renewed appreciation for being able to connect through in-person events, celebrations, and one-on-one conversations.

Through the generosity of our alumni, friends, and business community, we are able to award over $830,000 in scholarships this year! The mission of the Alumni Foundation is to support and assist those activities that strengthen NDSCS. Together, we can continue the tradition of achieving great things with and for NDSCS!

Alumni Foundation Board Welcomes Two New Members
Paige Kjesbo and Rich Slagle joined the Alumni Foundation Board this August. Both have great and unique experiences to add to the board, we look forward to working with them.
Celebrating Wildcat Singers and NDSCS Music History
A recent study determined that technical students do better while participating in the fine arts. This is nothing new to the campus of NDSCS which has had opportunities in music dating back over a century. The College, established in 1903, expanded to include the arts and science division in its third year of existence. By 1908, Professor Chas. C. Kirk had organized the first band on campus.
